     Everybuddy Java (EBJava) messaging system implements a single interface and consists of a server and an applet to log in to messaging services like ICQ, AIM etc. As this applet uses only a single TCP link between the applet and the server, firewalls can be easily configured to allow the complete freedom of use of this applet. The client/server design supports saving of the contact lists, increased security through encryption, conservation of limited bandwidth, and interface size etc.
